Raisa Regozo, RMT
Registered Massage Therapist
Hi there! I’m Raisa (pronounced “rice-ah”). I’ve been a practicing registered massage therapist and certified reflexologist for over 8 years, working with many clients in Toronto and the GTA, and I absolutely love it. I Recently added Reiki To my repertoire to open a resource of energy healing for my clients, as well.
Massage is a gift that I feel blessed to share. After a good massage, people immediately feel relaxed, looser, and happier. The smile people have after any discomfort has been relieved gives the most rewarding feeling.
As the youngest of four kids, I had a strong urge to be the caregiver; I started doing massage at a very young age for my parents, siblings and good friends.
As life would have it, I found out how I could share my gift with as many people as I could – Massage Therapy. At Sutherland-Chan School, one of the top massage therapy schools in Toronto, I refined my knowledge and technique, and graduated in 2007.
In school I came across Reflexology. I was fascinated with the fact that you could affect and relax the entire body from just the feet. I studied reflexology at Centennial College, and completed the course at the top of my class.
Many of my clients enjoy treatment-based relaxation massages. Though my massages are unique to each client, as everyone has different needs. It is also important to be educated about your health. Why do you get pains? How do you get rid of them? And how can you prevent them from coming back? I’ll show you how!
Aside from massage therapy, I’m quite active with weight-training exercise, running, and yoga, equally. I love music and come from a musically-talented family.
I really enjoy meeting people and seeing how I can help them have a healthier, more relaxed lifestyle. I look forward to meeting and working with you.
Some immediate benefits of massage therapy and reflexology include:
– stress relief
– decrease in physical tension
– emotional releases
– postural correction
– better sleep
It can treat conditions as headaches, cramps, constipation, strains, sprains, injuries from motor vehicle accidents, and much more.
